Jim leads our team of Attorneys in designing and implementing advanced estate tax planning strategies for our high-net-worth clients. Jim has over 40 years of experience in researching and developing multigenerational tax planning strategies to help clients reduce or eliminate capital gains taxes and estate taxes. Jim is a licensed CPA and he graduated with honors from Notre Dame Law School. He earned an LLM degree in Taxation with honors from New York University School of Law. Jim was a partner at Thompson Colburn and Armstrong Teasdale prior to starting his own law firm in 1999. Jim is a nationally known expert on estate tax planning and he has written numerous books and articles, including; “Optimum Estate Planning” and “Estate Planning for IRAs and 401Ks”.
